charles baxter's introduction

in charles baxter's "shame and forgetting in the information age", information is shown to be killing memories, and has begun the death of the story teller. memories, being our own personal experiences. both have there places in our personinality and intellect. a combination of personal experiences and information balance out a feeling of shame of being inadaquit in the information age, and forgetting or not even having personal experiences. this balance is key to remembering who you are, and maintaining your usefulness in an age of print and information.
